 Today we colored in pictures. I liked choosing the colors.

Today me and my reading group had to do a reading task which was to record a video of us doing a play.

Plot plants

Looked  online  to  find   a  design  

Got  old  bottles  and   cut   them  into shapes

Put   two coats of white paint 

Wait  for  it to dry

Choose paint colors and a  tessellation design,

I chose hearts.

Painted the colors on the bottle

Wait for it to dry and add another coat.

Rainbow Haiku

 

Today I made a haiku poem about a rainbow. I learnt that a haiku has three lines. The first line has five syllables the second line has seven syllables the third line has five syllables. This was a tricky thing to do I needed to keep a count of the syllables and change some words or leave some out altogether.

Today Shayelah came to talk to room 11 Ahipara School about her business. Shayelah makes yummy cakes and she decorates them I want Shayelah to decorate MY cake . I would like a chocolate unicorn cake .I think she works really hard making beautiful cakes .Check them out at Clark's Cakes

This is my WordArt creation. It is all the kind words my class thought about me. What is one nice compliment you could give someone? 
 

Taina self-portrait

What do you like about my self-portrait? It was quite tricky, first I needed to take a photo on the web cam toy app. and then I had to use the "curve' on the drawing app. to make the outlines over my photo {like tracing} Then I had to choose my colours for all the spaces I made with my outlines. Finally, I had to post it to my blog.

Rainbows

Rainbows are bright colours. The sun is a white light and when it shines through raindrops the little drops are like prisms and the light reflects and we see a rainbow.

We see rainbows in mist, rain, seaspray and glass.

We had to write about something that we liked, I wrote about rainbows with Leeann.  

I like rainbows because they are so bright and colourful.

I found it easy to write about rainbows because I love them.

What I enjoyed most was adding my picture because it was easy.

The thing/part I found most challenging was using both my hands to make a capital letter because I do not use my left hand very often. 

What I might do differently next time is to find out how to change my background because it can make my work look cooler.
